The Mission Behind Reframing HR
During my fifteen years at the helm of global HR departments, I noticed a significant gap. Seasoned executives clearly understood that the landscape was shifting, yet they lacked a practical, independent, and high-level community to help them navigate how these changes would redefine their leadership roles and the future of work.
The existing insights were often bogged down by technical jargon or biased by commercial interests. Our industry deserved a candid, clear, and unfiltered guide.
Consequently, I designed this platform for us.
Jessica Smith is a Chief People Officer with 15 years of experience leading global HR teams across some of the world's most complex and fast-moving organisations — including Amazon, AWS, and Meta. She has led people strategy across the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and Asia Pacific — building HR functions from the ground up and guiding organisations through large-scale transformation across multiple industries and geographies.
She holds a BS in Finance from Hampton University and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she has lived and worked in three countries and brings a global lens to every conversation about the future of HR.
In 2026 she completed MIT's programme in Leadership for the AI Age: Driving Transformation for Competitive Advantage — deepening her understanding of how AI is reshaping organisations and what it takes to lead that change from the people side.
