As AI reduces the volume of hiring, every human hire becomes more consequential. Most organizations are not ready for that.
Most organizations are still hiring like it is 2015. Outdated job descriptions. Pedigree-based screening. Industry experience used as a proxy for capability. And now candidates are using AI to tweak their resumes to fit those outdated JDs — so you have a circular reference where nobody is questioning the premise.
